Revoluciones y dictaduras en la América Latina del siglo XX y sus consecuencias

Resumen: La segunda mitad del siglo XX en América Latina reflejó el huracán de tensiones que originó la Guerra Fría y la división de los bloques capitalista y comunista. Las pretensiones por instaurar su dominio por parte de Estados Unidos llevaron a Cuba, Nicaragua y Venezuela a un descontento social que dio paso a las famosas revoluciones, promovedoras de la lucha contra las dictaduras capitalistas y defensoras de los valores comunistas. El presente estudio pretende analizar los precedentes, características y consecuencias en cada uno de los tres países con la finalidad de comprender el rumbo de cada nación.

Abstract: The second half of the 20th century in Latin America reflected the hurricane of tensions that originated the Cold War and the division of the capitalist and communist blocs. The pretensions to establish their dominance by the United States led Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela to a social discontent that gave way to the famous revolutions, promoters of the fight against capitalist dictatorships and defenders of communist values. This study aims to analyse the precedents, characteristics, and consequences in each of the three countries to understand the direction of each nation.
